Based around a dual processor Mac G4 and world renowned Logic Pro 7 software, the acoustically treated control room is at the heart of Random studios. We’ve got a range of great digital, vintage and valve equipment to give your recordings the soul they deserve.

Live area

Four acoustically treated rooms offer you increadible sound quality and flexibility. Record your entire band live with as much (or as little) separation as you need.

We’ve designed this space to be as creative and relaxing as possible – mood lighting, commissioned artwork, laminate flooring and more than 350 metres of cabling mean you can connect anything to anything else according on your needs. We’ve even got the hallway and storeroom wired up should you want to work in them!

Recreation room

When you need to relax we’ve got the space to do it in. The rec room has TV, DVD, VHS, hi-fi and two games consoles plus an always growing range of films and games.

When you need to eat or drink you’ll find our kitchen has all you need – lots of (clean) mugs, glasses and plates, microwave, fridge, toaster etc.
